AKA - Sasquatch 

Rules:

• This is a family competition so be nice!
• Must be beach worthy attire
• Hair must be grown solely by the competitor 
• No sprays or make up 
• Coverage,Density and Thickness are major
• Beard or facial hair are not required 
• Trim for shorter categories there’s time
• Expect to be photographed / you are in public!
• It could be your first if you win this category so own it!

Rules:

• The whiter the better but it must be natural and not added
• Fullness and length score highly
• Styling products and grooming aids are permitted
• Partial and Full beards do battle here and here only
• Make your best Yeti call during your intro or maybe knock on wood
• Santas category - HO HO HO!

Rules:

• All ages up to 16
• Facial display creation with all possibilities
• Unique theme or character portrayal optional
• Use your imagination here costume and makeup not required but a bonus
• Presentation and adorability cannot be ignored
• Awards will be presented immediately after category so stay here
• Get a memorable picture of your creative concoction.

AKA - BigFoot                                              

Rules:

• Measured from the lower lip down to the lowest point of the beard
• 24" or over to be qualifying for Bigfoot
• Fullness and density are huge
• Grooming aids, gels, sprays or waxes are not permitted (light oil)
• No colors no nothing fake
• Neatness may not be a good thing now as we want Big and Bad!
• We put you here so you can clean up during the comp if you're done with the winter beard
• Get a photo of your hairy self

• This could include just about anything you can support!
• All about creativity and presentation
• Made from whatever you think with some kind of theme
• No creation is a bad idea so think outside the box
• Photo worthy no doubt 

Full natural beard

Rules:

• Lengths are measured from the bottom of the lower lip down to the lowest point of the beard.
• Full Beard means wicked natural Mustache included!
• 12-24 inches fullness and density respected
• Grooming aids like sprays or waxes are not permitted (light oil slides)
• No colors no nothing fake
• Positioned to trim further?
• Presentation always important

Rules:

• Partial Beard can mean no mustache, no side burns, no chin hair, maybe all of these at once!
• Creating a display with colors, holding sprays and gels are acceptable
• Some styling should be attempted or you belong in category 14
• Wash quickly and let it all hang out If participating in more categories  
• Do get a picture before Moving on

AKA - Business Beard

Rules:

• All Natural Mustache and full beard
• No products other than light oil
• Beard length up to 6 inches
• Fullness, density and length are very important!
• Presentation defines you here as this may be the largest group
• Shaving off the beard here sets you up for the next two!
• Get one photo before you do it!

Rules:

• It’s getting cold because we have lost our beard and any facial hair other than above the lip
• The longer and fuller the Stash the better
• Holding sprays, gels and wax are ok here!
• Handlebar, Dali, English and other classic styles are displayed neatly and symmetrically  
• Outfits are distinguished and many times resemble the more civilized culture.
• Get a photo
• Wash out one more to go!

Rules:

• All that’s left is above the lip
• We are natural here with no product other than light oil
• The fuller, longer and denser the higher you will place
• Creating a curl or style naturally scores big position points
• Keep smiling if you shave it off and you read the rules that’s one more qualifying point for most categories!

• Looking back you entered and participated in multiple categories and regardless of the outcome you survived to move on to top three contributors!
• We don’t care how good or bad you looked or placed, you are a warrior now and possibly without facial hair!

• Not always the biggest beard but certainly our most majestic and impressive character!
